New Oakland Family Centers

Located in Warren, Michigan, New Oakland Family Centers offers a wide range of mental health services to people ages 3 and up, including kids, teens, and adults. The center helps people who are going through a lot of mental pain by providing outpatient care, intense day treatment, and partial hospitalization services. With a focus on mental health care for everyone, New Oakland doesn't offer gender- or faith-based-specific services, so people with a wide range of needs are welcome. 
 
The FACE to FACE Day Treatment and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) are two of the facility's specialized programs. They provide intense treatment in a caring office setting to keep people out of the hospital and help them get back into the community. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, mindfulness, group therapy, individual and family therapy, and managing medications are some of the ways that people are treated. New Oakland Family Centers is accredited by The Joint Commission, which means they provide high-quality care. They also accept most major private insurances, Medicaid, and County Mental Health agency benefits, though this depends on the type of service.
